Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat, Are You Waking Up? follows the very familiar story of a child getting ready for school in the morning. The mother and the kitten keep going back and forth as the mother gently asks, "kitty cat, kitty cat, are you waking up,"  while the kitten keeps getting distracted by little things that are more interesting than getting ready for school.  In the end, the kitten apologizes for being so slow, but happily makes it onto the bus in time.

I found Kitty Cat, Kitty Cat, Are You Waking Up? a very playful and heartwarming story. The story brings back memories of when I was young, and my mom had to wake me up to get ready for school. I think the repetition and rhyme in the story along with the colorful illustrations make the story very enjoyable for children. The two person dialogue would be fun for a parent and a child learning how to read if the child could read the part of the kitten.

Silly Sally follows the adventures of Sally as she makes her way into town "walking backwards, upside down."  Along the way, she also meets many friends who are just as silly as her.  However, a problem arises during her walk until someone comes along and saves the day.  Then they all go to town where everyone joins in and also starts "walking backwards, upside down."

Silly Sally is a fun read with really bright sunny colors that pop out. The rhyme and repetition also add to the fun and playful feel of the story.  I liked how there was a little twist in the story when I was not expecting one at all. I also liked how the image of Sally really fits her silly personality, and how she is able to make people let go and follow her lead, no matter how silly.

On each page of Peek-a-Boo!, there is an image of a toddler showing a different expression that corresponds to the text.  The expressions range from laughing to crying and even "peek-a-boo" to "I love you."

I think that little ones will really enjoy Peek-a-Boo! Obviously, it does not contain a lot of content, but that makes it perfect for babies. I learned that babies really respond to faces and different emotions, and so that along with the high contrast in the photos will really grab their attention. It will allow babies to mimic the different expressions they see in the book.  Parents can also play peek-a-boo with their child by covering the child's eyes to play peek-a-boo with the child in the photo, which makes it more enjoyable as it is interactive. Overall, I think this is the perfect book for babies, but I do wish there were some more emotions included.
